The Challenge
Healthcare environments require flooring that meets strict infection-control standards while maintaining a warm, non-institutional appearance for patient wellbeing. Work had to be phased around live clinical environments.
Our Solution
We installed Altro Aquarius slip-resistant flooring with heat-welded seams and integral coving throughout three wards. The material was chosen for its chemical resistance and ease of deep cleaning. Works were carried out in night-shift phases.
The Outcome
All three wards passed NHS infection-control audits with top ratings. Patient feedback noted the calming colour scheme and clean, modern environment. The healthcare flooring system continues to perform to specification.
